On Saturday, October 11, 2014, Corporate Helicopters will be sponsoring the 2nd Annual “Wave Goodbye to MS – Paddle for the Cure”. This is a fundraising event for the National MS Society created by lifelong friends, Steve Bettis and Mitch Murphy. The goal of the event is to raise the awareness of the need for a more directed and intense research to find a cure. Corporate Helicopters will provide a helicopter for aerial photos of the paddle out event.
The event will take place at Crown Point Shores (Crown Point Dr. & Ingraham St.) in San Diego, CA from 9:00am to 1:30pm. This calm water 5k paddle to raise funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society is open to any and all forms of human powered paddle craft (surfboards, paddle boards, boogie boards, canoes, kayaks, rubber alligators, etc.). If you cannot paddle, you are welcome to cheer the paddlers on! There will be live music on the beach, guest speakers, guest paddlers, giveaways, prizes and refreshments.
Wave Goodbye to MS is a nonprofit, tax deductible fundraiser.
