During the last week in April, pilot Jeff Horonzy, CFII and his student, Will Markiewicz, embarked on a ferry flight in a Robinson R22 from Frederick, MD to San Diego.
Having to plan the route to avoid thunderstorms, strong winds, and wildfires, they made it safely back to Montgomery Field after six adventurous days of flying. It truly was the ultimate cross-country flight experience.
