If you’ve been watching ABC’s The Bachelor this season, you may have noticed the helicopter in Episode 2. That was our Astar.
We flew bachelor Nick and his date from the mansion along the beach at Malibu, through Santa Monica, over LAX, through Long Beach, down the coast through Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, before finally landing off the shore of Laguna Beach.
This story takes place in a vast Honduran rain forest in an area called La Mosquitia – where deadly insects and snake are in abundance. It involves a local legend about a lost, cursed city and the explorers that decided to initiate a search for the city.
It sounds like the premise of an Indiana Jones movie. Only this story is real, and we had a part in it.
On Saturday, February 4th, 2017 Corporate Helicopters’ Flight Training Academy will host an open house. The event will run from 9am-1pm at 3753 John J. Montgomery Drive, Hangar 1, San Diego.
The open house is open to the public and the media is welcome to attend.
