Corporate Helicopters / San Diego Blood Bank 2010 Blood Drive Nets 51 Pints

On March 13th 2010, we held our annual Blood Drive. This year we were able to help net 51 pints of blood for the San Diego Blood Bank. We had a large donor turn out, and we traded helicopter rides for blood donations.

The blood was processed and sent Children’s Hospital to help save lives. A special thank you goes out to our volunteer staff - especially Larry Bay, Lyle Cocking, Mike Slattery and Starr Cooke - who donated their helicopters and piloting skills. It was a very successful day and many unknown children will be ever so thankful for your charitable efforts.

Corporate Helicopters holds the public blood drive for the San Diego Blood Bank every year.

Established through the support of the San Diego County Medical Society in 1950, the San Diego Blood Bank, a non-profit organization, is the largest blood collection agency in San Diego County.
