Corporate Helicopters began as a vision in 1989 and has evolved to become the premier helicopter service provider in Southern California. A passion for flying and helicopters, combined with an unwavering focus on the client, has resulted in the growth of the business to a fleet of over a dozen helicopters and a full-time staff of over sixteen.

Diversity of operations

The base of customers has likewise expanded: our specialized divisions fly celebrities, film crew, firefighters, television news reporters, vacationers, business executives, and critically ill patients across the U.S. and Mexico, performing a diverse set of missions in a diverse and challenging set of operational and environmental conditions.

Aerial Filming

Some highlights of our services include helicopter filming, video, and charter support for major sporting events such as the Super Bowl, America's Cup Yachting Races, and the X-Games, as well as high profile charter of executives, dignitaries and celebrities between Southern California cities and in support of major events such as the Republican National Convention.

Film industry expertise

Corporate Helicopters is well known and respected in the film industry, having played key aerial filming roles in such films as The Da Vinci Code, Titanic, Master and Commander, Collateral, The Hunted, Pearl Harbor, and many more. We have been highly successful with our aerial photography division, Hawkins Productions providing custom aerial photography services and a selection of stock aerial images of San Diego.
