Incredible Hulk
Erickson Air-Crane sent their S-64 Skycrane, named the Incredible Hulk, to San Diego for firefighting and construction projects at the request of SDG&E.
As a private corporation, SDG&E collaborated with the City of San Diego Fire Department to provide this huge effective helicopter for firefighting standby that is able to drop over 2000 gallons of water per tank-load. During this time SDG&E also used the helicopter for construction lifts of up to 20,000 pounds on the hook. The City of Chula Vista was thrilled when after fourteen years of planning the old tower structures were removed, clearing the way for the redevelopment of the South Bay Waterfront.
For the last two and a half months Corporate Helicopters has worked as the helicopter manager to facilitate the operations of this helicopter while in San Diego.

Score Baja 1000
Pilot Andy Fagan flew a Robinson R44 on the Score Baja 1000 for John Langley's Cops racing team with camera man Jim Cook. Along with filming the Cops’ three race cars, they followed some of the major players of Baja racing including, Cameron Steele, “Pistol” Pete, and BJ Baldwin.
When all was said and done, the Cops Class 1 car finished first place in their class. Corporate Helicopters provided seven other helicopters on this landmark race with three AStars, a LongRanger, a JetRanger and two more Robinson R44s. The helicopters provided medical evacuation services for SCORE International, filmed the racing action for NBC Sports and spotted for race team’s vehicles such as Vildosola Racing and Kawasaki.

Maintenance Crew
Jon McClure is the company’s Director of Maintenance and he oversees the mechanics that keep the corporate fleet tuned to perfection. The maintenance crew also provides custom completions for new helicopters and performs repairs for MD, Bell and Robinson Helicopters. In their spare time they package and ship helicopters to worldwide destinations.

 Sleigh Ride
Come experience Corporate Helicopters’ holiday cheer! The new “Sleigh Ride” holiday special is a 24-minute evening tour that flies over the illuminated downtown skyline and holiday light decorated yachts sailing in the San Diego Bay. Flights start from as low as $85 dollars per person, $259.00 for up to three passengers, $339.00 for up to four passengers, and $599.00 for up to five passengers.
This is a special for the month of December only and is valid from 4:30pm - 6:30pm only. The best thing going this season is to share this special adventure and special time with friends and family.

Living Legend
Frank Robinson was honored as a Living Legend at the San Diego Air and Space Museum annual gala. As an engineer and pilot, his lifelong dream was to design a small affordable helicopter. He accomplished his dream through his company, Robinson Helicopter Company, which now produces the world’s best selling helicopter.
Ever the innovator, Frank will be introducing the turbine powered Robinson R66 helicopter to the market in the near future. Corporate Helicopters is a Robinson Sales and Service center and sponsored a table at the gala event.
